Success in this role is based on the Producer’s ability to win and retain new business and meet or exceed established sales goal targets related to revenue growth, mix of business and penetration into industry specific targets. Aggressively develops and manages an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, conducting in depth needs analysis/risk assessments, developing ideas for meeting their needs, presenting information on the organization’s capabilities, strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients’ needs and introducing technical specialists, as required, to win and retain the business. The majority of activity in this role is directed toward the generation of new sales to existing and prospective clients.
BA/BS degree in related field of study required. Advanced education degrees preferred. Valid State-relevant Insurance license(s)as required by state law. 5+ years of successful experience in insurance sales ideally within an industry niche and with a top 50 Broker. Professional designations such as CEBS and NAHU preferred. Proven track record of successful pipeline development, delivery of effective sales strategies and reputation as a client-centric sales professional. Having an established book of business a definite plus!
